Distribution
Southeast Pacific: Chile [16049]. Southwest Atlantic: off Argentina [785] and Uruguay [5839].

Biology
Oviparous. Distinct pairing with embrace. Young may tend to follow large objects, such as their mother [17086]. Paired eggs are laid. Embryos feed solely on yolk [733].

demersal; marine; depth range 92 - 128 m [785]
