Dentition
Diagnosis: Teeth smooth edged, 38/32 in type specimen, 32/32 in female of 254 mm; uppers mostly with 7 cusps, a few with 8 (4 laterals on the one side, 3 on the other), a few with only 5 or 6; median cusp considerably the longest and stoutest, the lateral cusps on each side graded in length outward. Lower teeth with the cusp directed so strongly outward as to form a practically unbroken cutting edge approximately parallel with the jaw [2749];
