Hexanchus griseus (BONNATERRE, 1788)
Description after BASS et al. 1975: [#134]:
The teeth of a female of about four meters are shown in pl. 1. Tooth counts (in four jaws examined) were always 6-1-6 in the lower jaws and 9-9 or 10-10 in the upper jaws (disregarding the small lateral teeth). Bigelow and Schroeder (1948) note that the median tooth row is always present in the lower jaws.
