Very large torpedo ray usually with a plain brownish dorsal coloration lacking distinctive spots or markings, ans smooth spiracles laching papillae. [24877]

Nord-West Atlantic, mainly eastern USA, rarely south to Venezuela [24877]

TL (max): 154 cm; TL (mature): male: 75-85 cm, female: 125-135 cm [24877]

Habitat
demersal, from shoreline to ~530 m depth [24877]
