Description
Original diagnosis after Martill & Ibrahim, 2012 [14374]: Based solely on rostral ‘teeth’: elongate, tapered crown terminating in sharp point in smaller examples, slightly blunted in larger individuals. Anterior margin straight to gently convex such that apex may be directed slightly laterocaudally. Posterior margin with two, occasionally three hook-shaped cusplets directed rostrally. Cross-section of crown oval. Root with smooth margins. This may be apomorphic for the genus. Individual ‘teeth’ with multiple cusplets range from 8 mm to 20 mm in length. ‘Teeth’ lacking cusplets within the hypodigm material range from 1.8 mm to 8.25 mm in length.
