Description
Original diagnosis after Ginter & Hansen, 2010 [26471]: A species of Denaea characterized by teeth with the following combination of features: in seven-cuspid teeth the outermost pair of the lateral cusps is the highest; the central cusp is slightly compressed labio-lingually; the cristae on the labial side of the central cusp diverge laterally at the base and then corresponding pairs join before reaching the tip; the cristae on the lingual face of the cusps converge at various heights; the outermost cusps are strongly divergent; the base is short labio-lingually and has a slightly convex labial margin; the base is provided with a distinct button, at the lingual rim; there are only two large openings of the main basal canal, one in the centre of the aboral surface and another on the lingual rim.
