Description
Original diagnosis after Koot & Cuny, 2015 [21671]: Synechodontiform shark with a gradient monognathic heterodont dentition; symmetrical anterior teeth and asymmetrical lateral teeth; slight basal arching anteriorly and anterolaterally; 1_3 well-developed lateral cusplet pairs and additional cusplets in asymmetrical teeth; pointed cusps, recurved or directed lingually; crown labio-lingually compressed; acute longitudinal crest; small to moderate lingual peg, which may also be absent; small labial peg rarely present; small nodes and weak circumferential rim at the crown shoulder; oblique and straight vertical cristae; enameloid microstructure comprising parallel-bundled enameloid in the apical part of the main cusp and a superficial layer of single crystallite enameloid; lingually protruding base; anaulacorhize to polyaulacorhize vascularization.
