Description
Original diagnosis after Andreev, Coates, Shelton, Cooper, Smith & Sansom, 2015 [22511]: Altholepids possessing scales with predominantly needle shaped to lanceolate scale odontodes organized into multiple odontocomplex rows (up to 15) not divided by inter-odontocomplex spaces. Primordial odontode the longest and the most anteriorly positioned element of the crown. Tubular dentine forms both crown and pedicle components of scales.
