Description
Original diagnosis after Figueroa & Gallo, 2017 [25212]: Chondrichthyan known only by relatively slender fin spine that gradually tappers towards the top; compressed laterally and with slight curvature in the anteroposterior direction; with its posterior face concave or flat, without denticles on the posterolateral margins; lateral faces almost flat and ornamented with smooth longitudinal ridges; ridges become more enlarged laterally at the level of the basal profile; ridges from the posterior portion of the lateral face thinner, especially near the spine apex; new ridges accreted by insertion from the posterior margin of the lateral faces and by bifurcation at medial portions.
