Description
Original diagnosis after Figueroa & Gallo, 2017 [25212]: Chondrichthyan only by a fin spine with a rhomboidal shape in lateral view, extremely compressed laterally and lacking marked curvature in the anteroposterior direction; convex posterior face, especially near the posterior closure; denticles absent on the posterolateral margins of the spine; flat lateral faces; long basal profile, almost of the same length of the posterior profile; relatively small intramuscular portion; anterior face formed by an isolated nodose ridge; ornamentation of longitudinal ridges formed by tubercles elongated distally and more evident proximally.
