Description
Original diagnosis after Hodnett & Elliott, 2018 [26883]: Small heterodont durophagous protacrodont shark with multicuspid teeth ∼1 mm long mesiodistally, 400 μm wide labiolingually, and 300–400 μm tall (Fig. 9.3, 9.4 holotype MNA V11294). Tooth base shallow, curved aborally or moderately flattened, mesiodistally elongated, and lingually offset from crown. Enlarged foramina in a single row on lingual and labial margins of tooth base. Tooth crown with prominent median cusp that is either compressed labiolingually or rounded, one to two lateral cusps near equal in height, labial and lingual horizontal ridges forming cingulum, and labial and lingual vertical ridges on cusps.
