Description
Original diagnosis after Wynd, Demar & Wilson, 2020 [28685]: Species of Cristomylus differing from all other species of the genus in possessing the following combination of character states: occlusal surface of crown with a more prominently raised transverse crest; transverse crest sometimes bordered by a moderately deep furrow; occasional presence of weak to moderately developed occlusal crenulations on both the lingual and labial sides of the transverse crest; when present, crenulations restricted to the occlusal surface of the crown; crown lateral faces outwardly rounded apicobasally, with absent or poorly developed flattened facets; crown angles rounded; root consistently thicker and up to twice as thick as the crown.
