Original diagnosis after Andreev, 2014 (nomen nudum) [28646]: Deltalepis species with ovoid, 0.2–0.5 mm long, scale crowns that are compartmentalised into seven to ten lobes. The lateral crown branches of the pulp cavity do not connect directly to the main pulp canal.
