Description
Diagnosis after Ribeiro & de França, 2025 [35493]: Parvodus graciliani sp. nov. is distinguished by the following combination of characters (synapomorphies of Parvodus denoted by a cross [†]; autapomorphic states of P. graciliani sp. nov. denoted by an asterisk [*]): (1) teeth with a rounded labial protuberance extending beyond the crown margin and reaching the crown-root junction (†); (2) smooth labial surface of the crown, with a single vertical ridge extending from the apex of the main cusp to the central portion of the cusp (*), and terminating at the labial protuberance; (3) some teeth bear a “hook”-shaped projection on the distal portion of the protuberance (*); (4) lingual surface of the main cusp lacking a protuberance (†); (5) lingual surface ornamented with horizontal folds on the crown shoulder of the crown, reaching the lateral cusplets (†).
