Description
Original diagnosis after Cappetta (1981) p. 569 [329]: Alopias dont les dents, proches de celles de l'espèce actuelle Alopias superciliosus (Lowe, 1840), se caractérisent par la présence de denticules latéraux bas et assez larges (dans les files antérieures au moins). Tranchants de la cuspide bien développés mais s'interrompant avant la base du côté symphysaire.
