Original diagnosis after Cappetta, Buffetaut, Cuny & Suteethorn, 2006 [353]: As for genus: Genus characterized by small teeth (less than 8 mm in total height) having a high crown square or rectangular in shape, with a very convex labial margin, concave lingual margin and straight lateral margins in, occlusal view. A clear ridge parallel to the labial margin of the tooth in occlusal view divides the occlusal face into two areas, labial and lingual. From this ridge, on the labial area there are perpendicular folds reaching the margin, and on the lingual area there are labiolingually orientated folds.
The root is very developed, high, oblique and labiolingually flattened, with large foramina opening near its basal face. Its labial face is slightly convex, the lingual one slightly concave. The basal face is weakly developed labiolingually. In lateral teeth, the root is not as high and more oblique.
