Oviparous, paired eggs are laid. Embryos feed solely on yolk [733]. First record of a cartilaginous fish manifesting hermaphroditism which is further classified as rudimentary hermaphroditism (Ref. 53905). Occurs on the continental slope (Ref. 75154).
