Description
Original diagnose after Guinot et al. (2014) p. 75 [20107]: Carcharhinid teeth showing gradient monognathic heterodonty and possibly sexual heterodonty. Teeth as high as wide to wider than high not exceeding 2.5 mm. Erect main cusp lingually and distally inclined with convex lingual face. Lateral heels high and horizontal with flat labial face and oblique margins. Anaulacorhize root with flat basal face and short and abrupt labial face. Presence of numerous labial foramina. Lingual root face with wide and acute lingual protuberance pierced by foramina. Depressed margino-lingual root faces with small foramen openings. Heterodonty represented by low and labio-lingually compressed lateral teeth with distally inclined main cusp. Mesial heel undifferentiated from main cusp and reduced distal heel. Occasional presence of slight short vertical folds on lingual crown neck and rare marginolabial folds. Main cusp with erect apex in some supposed lower lateral teeth of males. Presence of supposed parasymphyseal teeth with symmetrical erect main cusp and mesio-distally compressed root.
