Distribution
Southwest Atlantic: known from the type locality, off Argentina and Uruguay [5839].

Biology
Oviparous, paired eggs are laid. Embryos feed solely on yolk [733]. Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell [17086].

bathydemersal; marine; depth range 940 - 1040 m [785]
