Description
Original diagnose after Guinot et al. (2013) p. 619 [24889]: Orectolobiform with gradient monognathic and possible dignathic heterodonty. Teeth as high as wide in anterior files, gradually broader than high in more lateral files. Low and bulky triangular cusp broadly united to heels. High heels sub-horizontal in anterior teeth and strongly inclined in lateral and posteriors; well-developed cutting edges of heels with labially directed and occasionally bifid lateral extremities. Slight ornament of short and parallel vertical ridges on the lateral extremity of the lingual face of the heels. Well-developed and elongate apron rectangular to weakly digitate and protruding labially; basal edge of the apron reaching or overtaking the baseline of the root. Broad lingual protuberance of the crown not reaching the baseline of the root. Basal root face rectangular, hemiaulacorhize to partially holaulacorhize (nutritive groove open on the lingual half of the basal face) in posteriors. Numerous marginolingual foramina.
