Distribution
Western Central Atlantic: known from the type locality, off the western coast of Puerto Rico.

Biology
Oviparous, paired eggs are laid. Embryos feed solely on yolk [733]. Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell [17086].

bathydemersal; marine; depth range 458 - 458 m [785]
