Description
Original diagnosis after Otero et al. (2026) [35427]: Echinorhinus species with the following unique combination of characters: mature teeth with distinctive complex mesial edge having two low, rounded cusplet primordia, distally followed by a serrated edge that reaches the main cusp and fades into a smooth cutting edge over the tip of the crown; presence of a single, sharp distal cusplet; main cusp with a convex edge, which is finely serrated in the mesial side but smooth distally.
