Distribution Strategraphy
Hinoshima Formation (“lower member”) of the Himenoura Group, Santonian [19480];

Measurement
measurement max (holotype): Tooth height: 11.4 mm, tooth width: 21.3 mm, tooth thickness (labiolingual): 2.7 mm, crown height: 5.4 mm, crown width: 21.3 mm, root height: 6.0 mm [19480];

Material
4 teeth (holotype and three paratypes, collection nr.: KCM 12-000266, KCM 12-000362, KCM 12-000267, KCM 12-000064) [19480];

Description
Original diagnose after KITAMURA [19480]: The main cusp is distally inclined. The distally directed cusp apex does not extend beyond the distal demarcation of the distal heel. Lateral cusplets (basal cusplets) are absent. The principal cusp is relatively very large. There is no vertical groove in the central region of the root. There are a few grooves below the boundary of the enameloid on the lingual face. The tooth size is markedly large.
