Original diagnose after Ward (1977) p. 101 [4068]: Elasmodus with small robust mandibular plate. Convex inner surface; small beak tritor to symphysial tritors. Anterior outer tritor distinct and separate from mandibular tritor. Palatine and vomarine plates unknown.
