Short Description
Diagnosis after JEW, EBERT, KEMPER, WALOVICH & QUARANTA, 2018 [26398]: A medium-bodied Hydrolagus distinguished from other species by the following characteristics: a long second dorsal fin undulated with fin margin peaking at the anterior and posterior ends. Dorsal fin spine is curved rearward, and when depressed, extends past the origin of the second dorsal fin. A well-defined, pointed snout with minimal sloping from the orbital to snout tip.
