Viviparous, placental [733]. With 4 or 5 young per litter [517]. Size at birth near 23 cm (full-term fetuses) [517]. Distinct pairing with embrace [17086]. A little-known tropical shark found on the uppermost insular slopes. Feeds on cephalopods.
