Description
Original diagnosis after Duffin, Heckert & Hancox, 2023 [31843]: Teeth of Lissodus measuring up to 2.16 mm mesiodistally and 1.4 mm high (Table 1). The central cusp is low, pointed and labially directed. The labial peg is weak to very strong, usually with a vertical ridge on its crest, and may be normal to the central long axis of the crown or twisted away from it. Very strong labial nodes are present on the flanks of the labial peg and/or the junction of the labial peg with the crown in larger lateral teeth. An elongate or localised swelling is present at the same level as the labial peg but on the lingual face of the crown and may be replaced with a complex of lingual nodes and/or a fine horizontal ridge.
