Original diagnosis after Estes, 1964 [788]: Tiny fresh-water hybodonts with nonsculptured, elongate lateral teeth having a large labial projection. Interpreted anterior teeth tricuspid and with a median root canal, which. is lacking in the massive root of the lateral teeth.
