Description
Original diagnosis after Clone, 1986 [477]: Megascyliorhinus of large size; crown curving lingually; labial face very strongly and deeply striated; lingual face with delicate, sinuous, anastomosing striations; lateral cutting edge sometimes reaching the base of the crown; lobes of the root diverging strongly; base of the root not flat, but with lobes inclinded toward anterior central line in the lingual region. Basal root groove never reaching lingual face or absent. Lateral denticles differently developed. Lateroposterior teeth stocky.
