Distribution
Northeast Atlantic: Iceland [20065] and slopes around Rockall Trough, northwest of Ireland.

Human uses
fisheries: of no interest

Biology
Oviparous [7182]. Paired eggs are laid. Embryos feed solely on yolk [733]. Inhabits the deeper parts of the continental slope and on slopes of submarine banks. Feeds on all kinds of bottom animals.
