Material of the first description [3140]: 14 teeth

Description
Original diagnosis after Ginter, Hairapetian & Klug, 2002 [3140]: A subspecies of Ph. gothicus with asymmetrical teeth. The crown is not transverse to the long axis of the base, but it is rotated at five to seven degrees to the right or left. The base is also asymmetrical, generally narrowing lingually, with a pointed lingual end and a small, flat lobe on one side of the lingual region. The button is situated well away from the lingual end of the base.
