Description
Original diagnosis after Andreev, 2014 (nomen nudum) [28646]: Altholepids possessing scales with predominantly needle-shaped to lanceolate scale odontodes organised into multiple odontocomplex rows (up to 15) not divided by inter-odontocomplex spaces. Primordial odontode the longest and the most anteriorly positioned element of the crown. Tubular dentine forms both crown and pedicle components of scales.
