Description
Original diagnosis after Guinot, Cappetta, Underwood & Ward, 2012 [17161]: As for the genus: Oral teeth wider than they are long, weakly cuspidate with continuous occlusal crest that becomes blurred in the cusp area; crown and root rather low; lingual folds over the lingual face, radiating from the base of the cusp. Very poorly developed apron, wide and short uvula with rounded extremity; lingual face with prominent bulge along the basal margin; depression between the lingual bulge and the occlusal crest. Triangular root lobes with median groove widened centrally; wide-central foramen; up to two pairs of marginolingual foramina. Small rostral teeth with cap and peduncle of similar size; cap projected posteriorly with anterior and posterior cutting edges and folds on the lower region of the upper and lower faces; sharp ridges on the anterior region of the basal bulge. Peduncle widened towards the irregular and strongly concave triangular base. Peduncle branches projected posteriorly.
