Description
Original diagnosis after Guinot, Cappetta, Underwood & Ward, 2012 [17161]: Rhinobatidae with small teeth, as high as they are wide. Tooth crown unornamented with convex labial face and labial outline. Teeth of male individuals cuspidate with a short occlusal crest not reaching the marginolingual angles; crown of female individuals globular without cusp and crest. Trilobate lingual face with well-developed, wide and long median uvula with rounded extremity and straight lateral margins; marginal uvulae well separated from the median uvula. Holaulacorhize root with wide and deep groove; very developed lingual and marginal branches; irregular basal surface and basal outline of the root.
