Description
Original diagnosis after Guinot, Cappetta, Underwood & Ward, 2012 [17161]: Ptychotrygonid teeth not exceeding 2 mm wide. Teeth triangular with well-developed cusp oriented lingually and crossed by a well-developed occlusal crest. Labial ornamentation of median parallel ridges originating from the basal region of the cusp and radiating over the labial halves of the crown. Smooth and depressed marginolabial regions delimited lingually by the occlusal crest and labially by the labial ornamentation. Bulky apron protruding labiobasally; wide and convex labial visor. Lingual face crossed transversally by an irregular ridge separating the depressed marginolingual regions from the concave uvula; uvula broad and triangular with rounded extremity. Low holaulacorhize root projected lingually with flat and flared basal face; incipient lingual protuberances of the root on both sides of the lingual notch; deep nutritive groove wider in its labial region; large central foramen; up to two marginolingual foramina.
